Pastoral Supervision
We know that ministry can be both rewarding and challenging. As pastors, you dedicate yourselves to serving others, providing spiritual guidance, and nurturing the faith of your congregation. The demands and complexities of pastoral life often leave little room for personal reflection, support, and rejuvenation which sadly end up with a negative impact on the Pastor and his family which in turn affects the local church. Recognising this fact, the Royal Commission's report has underscored the importance of creating safe and accountable environments within religious organizations, and we are greatly encouraged to see so many pastors, churches and even denominations taking up the Royal Commission’s recommendation for pastors and leaders to receive professional supervision.
Pastoral Supervision offers a structured, confidential, and safe space for you to talk, and receive support, guidance, and accountability. It fosters self-awareness, strengthens leadership skills, and revitalizes your sense of purpose and calling. By actively participating in supervision, you not only invest in your own personal growth, ministry, and well-being but also contribute to modelling a culture of transparency, self-reflection, and responsible pastoral leadership within your church.
As a Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor who has served as a Lead Pastor of a church for a number of years, I have a healthy understanding of the unique needs of pastors and the vital role supervision plays in their lives. I am passionate about walking alongside those in ministry, offering a safe and non-judgmental space for reflection, growth, and self-care. I bring a balance of theological knowledge, pastoral experience, and psychological expertise to ensure a holistic approach to your supervision journey.
Through Pastoral Supervision, you and your church can benefit in the following ways:
Cost:
Individual Session - $120 (60 minute session)
Zoom Session - $50 (minimum of 3 and subject to availability)

Through Pastoral Supervision, you and your church can benefit in the following ways:
- Pastoral well-being: Supervision prioritises the well-being of pastors, allowing them to process their experiences, navigate challenges, and address personal concerns. This support enhances resilience and helps prevent burnout.
- Prioritise self-care: Ministry often leads to burnout and neglect of personal well-being, which negatively affects you, your family and the local church. Supervision helps you prioritise self-care, establish boundaries, and develop healthy patterns of rest, renewal, and self-nurturing.
- Develop leadership skills: Supervision fosters essential leadership skills such as emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, effective communication, and team building. These skills empower you to lead with authenticity, integrity, and effectiveness.
- Navigate complex dynamics: Pastoral ministry involves navigating interpersonal dynamics, conflicts, and challenging situations. Supervision equips you with tools and strategies to address these complexities and maintain healthy relationships within your congregation and community.
- Cultivate spiritual growth: Supervision offers an opportunity to deepen your own spiritual journey, exploring questions of faith, calling, and personal transformation. It integrates your spiritual growth with the ministry you offer to others.
